Public Sector Works
Public sector basically means buildings that are Government funded. From hospitals and schools to train stations, ARW are heavily qualified to work in all of these locations. Our builders are trained and qualified to work in all Public Sector amenity buildings so trust is placed with us to work at requested hours, under controlled noise levels and limited time frames.
As public transport becomes busier and travellers require more services at train stations ARW are the preferred Contractors for many London stations. We are constantly working alongside First Capital Connect refurbishing and improving stations to improve the customer’s experience. ARW work around the clock to synchronise with peak times reducing business down time.
ARW undertake a large amount of refurbishment work within the Underground Network. Working within the public sector requires staff to be fully qualified, police checked and DBS checked - all of which ARW hold. (There are not many companies that are eligible for these types of authorisation!)
With the acquired knowledge of our experienced Project Managers, ARW understand the constraints of sensitive environments – for example working in hospitals. With our wide range of skills, attributes and techniques ARW provide for the highest standards and ensure whatever hurdle is put our way before, during or after construction we will operate through until the problem is resolved.
As part of our commercial skill base ARW renovate and rebuild school buildings. Across the London areas and Home Counties we have the certifications allowing us to work in occupied premises and also in the company of younger members of the public.
Working in schools has become a vital section of our business over the last year, allowing us to modernise and refurbish many schools with different requirements. ARW encompass a broad skill base allowing us to enhance any buildings or working environments.
ARW Specialist Building Contractors’ are DBS checked and authorised to work in environments such as schools, hospitals, sports clubs etc. Documentation to support this is available by request.
